Workshop
Description
Varying Takes Workshop is designed to help voice actors develop diverse performance options. Many new actors struggle with providing varied takes and often submit similar options, which can limit their opportunities. This workshop will teach you how to make each take unique by experimenting with different pitches, ages, comedic choices, or even accents. By offering varied takes, you showcase the full range of your talent to casting directors.
Guest instructor Marcus Stimac will guide you through this process, helping you explore and experiment with different approaches to maximize your impact. Marcus has lent his voice to numerous characters, including Bergamo in "Dragon Ball Super," Sairaorg Bael in "High School DxD," Ryoma Terasaka in "Assassination Classroom," and Dr. Giovanni in "Fire Force." In addition to his voice acting career, Stimac has contributed as an assistant ADR director for various anime series, such as "Aoashi," "Beast Tamer," and "Black Butler: Public School Arc." Additionally, he has served as an ADR Director for "The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World" and "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S: Nippon no Omotenashi - Attend wa Dragon desu". He is also a classically trained theater artist, having participated in over 40 full-length Shakespearean productions. With him on your side you'll learn to make every take count and show casting directors everything you have to offer!
