ITS BACK! Join the CC VO Companions in a hot streak, 3-day workshop intensive tailored to taking your VO career to the next level! This action packed weekend features 5 workshops that will focus on these varied and specific topics:
Friday Morning: Start strong with Corey as he helps you break free from your comfort zone and teaches you how to bring emotion and authenticity from the page to your performance.Friday Evening: Roo will build on those emotional techniques, guiding you through how to incorporate and apply emotions effectively in your voice acting reads.
Saturday Morning: Dan takes you into the world of video games, exploring video game scripts and further developing emotional delivery for both dialogue and action efforts.
Saturday Evening: A guest instructor will dive deep into scene building for character work, helping you master how to approach and develop fully realized characters in any context. The session begins with cold reads, where participants perform quick script reads with no preparation. Then, common mistakes such as overacting, unnatural cadence, and weak emotional connections are identified.
Sunday Morning: Join Jeme for live audition practices, where you’ll apply everything, you’ve learned during the weekend in a live setting, receiving personalized feedback to refine your performance.
Sunday Evening: Round off the weekend with a mock audition where you'll put all your new skills to the test in a live, directed audition, simulating a real-world experience with feedback and coaching.
After the final workshop, we’ll come together to celebrate your growth, decompress, and enjoy some time to reflect on the incredible journey of the past three days.

Kick off strong with Corey, who will guide you in breaking free from your comfort zone and teach you how to bring emotion and authenticity to your performance, transforming your reads. Then, Roo will take it a step further, building on those emotional techniques and helping you master how to effectively incorporate and apply emotions to your voice acting for a deeper connection with your audience.
Saturday — 11 am - 4 pm EST
Dan will take you into the exciting world of video games, exploring video game scripts and fine-tuning your emotional delivery for both dialogue and action efforts. Then, a special guest instructor will lead you through the intricacies of scene building for character work, helping you develop and approach fully realized characters in any context. Participants will break bad habits, improve emotional connection, and embody characters through cold reads, physical techniques, and live feedback. The session covers grounding exercises, cadence control, character voice exploration, and script challenges, with real-time coaching to refine performance.
Sunday — 11 am - 4 pm EST
